How It Works

Vein mapping uses an ultrasound device to send high frequency sound waves through the tissues in your body. Then, the machine records the sound echoes and transforms them into videos or photos of body tissues and fluids.

During the test, the sound waves reflect off blood cells moving in your vessels. The machine records the speed of your blood flow and displays it on a screen.
